50th Anniversary Endowment Initiative

The funds provide support for international ministries of the Presbyterian Church (USA) via MBF. These endowed funds have one objective: to support initiatives not just for one year, or even one generation, but in perpetuity in the name of Jesus Christ.

Since 1963, The Medical Benevolence Foundation (MBF) has worked to provide:

  • Medical Care Funding
MBF provides crucial funds needed to give medical care to the needy.
  • Volunteers
Through an international short-term volunteer (ISTV) program, MBF recruits healthcare professionals and other volunteers to save lives in developing nations.
  • Community Development
MBF support programs that provide long lasting changes that effect whole communities, such as clean water.
  • Medical Supplies
MBF works with partners to fill cargo containers with donations of medical supplies and equipment, which are shipped to partner medical facilities around the world.

Guarantee A Future

Medical Benevolence Foundation (MBF) receives gifts and memorials from its supporters, have you thought of supporting a permanent fund that would provide medical care for people for people in need, who live in remote locations in other parts of the world? These funds would provide support for years to come? For almost a half of a century, MBF with help from donors has provided critical medical care to people in medical need. Often the help meant the difference between life and death.

Endowment Initiative Goal: 10 Million

MBF has set a goal of raising its endowment funds to 10 million dollars by 2013, the 50th Anniversary of the founding of the Medical Benevolence Foundation.

In recent years, donors have already created endowment funds with gifts and pledges totaling over 5 million dollars. These funds provide support for the international health ministries of the Presbyterian Church (USA) which includes medical missionary salaries, and support of health programs in many countries, but also support the operation of MBF.
